Hey Babes! Our trip to Mexico is finally around the corner! I feel like we've been waiting and waiting for this trip and I am so excited to get away and relax with Dan and our friends. To say this trip is needed is an understatement!

I've been slowly picking up pieces to take with us. I know the photo opportunities will be endless and I plan on documenting our entire trip. I pulled together a few of my most recent pieces for a day at the beach and I'll be sharing some packing tips later this week.

Hello Friends! Happy Hump Day! This week seems to be going pretty quickly but I really can't wait for the weekend. Who is with me??

Today I wanted to share a casual look from last weekend. This black sheer eyelash lace blouse has been on repeat in my wardrobe. It's perfect with denim cutoff shorts for a casual daytime vibe, but would look just as good with a skirt and heels for date night.

Hi! Happy Thursday! First off, can you believe we are almost in August? If you follow me on Instagram then you know our summer has been filled with weddings, weekend trips, visiting family, and spending as much time as possible at the lake. Between all our plans, I've been a little MIA on the blog this month but I'm back in full action as of today! How has your summer been going?

We had a fun little date night last night and took some pictures before heading to the restaurant. If you are in the Pittsburgh area, I highly recommend Heirloom. Great eats and BYOB!

As summer always goes, our schedule seems to be booked almost every weekend with a picnic, party, barbecue, etc. I love being busy but it definitely takes some planning to make sure you are dressed appropriately to the event you're attending.

WHAT TO WEAR ON THE 4TH OF JULY

Can you believe it's almost the 4th of July?! It's one of my favorite holidays! Our plan is to host a little cookout, maybe hit up the pool, then of course, finish the night with some fireworks. I've been searching Pinterest for fun red, white and blue recipes.

I found these cocktails via 40aprons that just happen to be dairy, vegan and sugar free. How cute are they?! You can find the recipe on 40aprons here. I think I'm going to switch out the rum for vodka and see how it goes. I've never been a rum fan... college memories perhaps? But I'm so excited to see how they turn out!
